Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă welcomed the vote in the European Parliament on accepting investments in gas and nuclear energy as part of the green transitionreported Agerpres. “I welcome the prospect of implementing the delegated act on taxonomy from January 1, 2023. Undoubtedly inspired by events in Ukraine, Bucharest will upgrade its siren warning system, mayor Nicușor Dan announced. According to him, only about half of the capital’s 300 emergency sirens are currently functional, reported Romania Insider.
