The government will approve the extension of the state of alert and the new measures regarding the management of the corona pandemic related to the winter holidays period, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă declared today.

“Today we will approve the government decision regarding the extension of the alert state starting December 9th and the measures for the winter holidays”, Ciucă announced at the beginning of a cabinet meeting.

On Tuesday, the National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) approved the proposal to extend the state of alert starting with December 9th, and establishing, among other things, the elimination of traffic bans during the night, the abandonment of wearing a mask in open spaces except when they are crowded, and capacity increase from 30% to 50% for cinemas, theaters, sports and other activities, reported Agerpres.
