The PNL’s Executive Bureau agreed tonight to a rotating prime minister in a new government. Yet they insisted the first prime minister be from the PNL, reported Spotmedia.

PNL leader Florin Cîțu announced that he is the proposed prime minister. “We have decided to move forward with an rotating system of prime ministers. PNL’s proposal is to have the first prime minister”, Cîțu told reporters.

The Liberal leader insisted that he is the proposed PM, even though the PSD have come out publicly that they cannot accept him.

Whoever ends up being the proposed prime minister from the PNL, a big hurdle was taken in the negotiations to form a PNL-PSD-UDMR cabinet.
