The number of Romanians who have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose reached eight million on Tuesday. The number of people who are completely vaccinated is also nearing eight million. However, Romania remains the second least vaccinated country in the European Union, with slightly more than 40% of people getting a vaccine against COVID-19.
Vaccination data for 11 January 2022:
- Persons vaccinated in the last 24 hours: 25,905.
- People vaccinated with the first dose in the last 24 hours: 6,854.
- Total vaccinated persons: 8,000,810.
- Vaccinated persons with complete scheme: 7,895,172.
- People vaccinated with booster dose: 2,163,948.
- Total doses administered since December 27, 2020: 16,101,080.
