Romania will issue 687 million euro in domestic debt

The government is planning on selling RON 3.4 billion lei (687 million euro) worth of government securities next month, reported SeeNews.

According to the Official Gazette, the Ministry of Finance will organise nine auctions of government securities with residual maturity ranging from 2.4 to 14.3 years, and one auction of treasury bills.

The Ministry of Finance has sold already government securities worth RON 49 billion and 1.6 billion euros in 2021 and has tapped foreign markets for seven billion euros worth of Eurobonds.
