PSD vice-president Sorin Grindeanu announced today that the social democrats had decided to negotiate forming a government with PNL and UDMR, supported by minorities. He also spoke about the measures that PSD will propose for the governing programme, including a negotiation team for the revision of the Constitution, reported Digi24.
“In the National Political Council we took the decision, unanimously, that PSD will start negotiations with PNL, UDMR, minorities”, he said. “The National Political Council gave its consent because we are open to negotiate in order to speed up solution to Romania’s problems. There was absolutely no discussion about the positions in the cabinet”, Grindeanu said at PSD headquarters.
Florin Cîțu, president of the PNL, declared today that the reform plan of the government, including the recovery and resilience plan (PNRR), will not change, referring to the PSD proposals for the measures to be introduced in the governing programme.
