Well-known medical doctor Vasi Rădulescu has criticised the decision of the “two lei leaders” in the Senate to reject the green certificate, emphasising that its introduction for any activity would have led to 300,000 people being vaccinated each day and “in a month everything would be solved”, reported HotNews.

“When you have a situation that endangers all the inhabitants of the country, killing 3,000 per week, that is as much as a village, and you turn it into political games […] without promptly taking any measures to protect your inhabitants […] this means a country has leaders worth two lei.
Mandatory certificate for any activity -> 100-200-300,000 people vaccinated per day -> in a month everything was solved”, the medical doctor wrote on Facebook.

Dr. Rădulescu is a well-known educator and writer of bestsellers like Medicina povestită: Despre inima ta.

The bill providing for the introduction of the COVID-19 green certificate for medical workers, but also for public institutions and in office buildings, was rejected by the Senate by a single vote last week. The draft bill has been sent to the Chamber of Deputies, which has the final say.
