Romgaz announced Tuesday evening that the company’s leadership approved the acquisition of 50% of the Neptun Deep perimeter in the Black Sea from ExxonMobil, Ziarul Financiar reported. The sale-purchase contract will be signed after approval by Romgaz shareholders scheduled for December 9. The state company and producer and supplier of natural gas is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
“The purchase price to be paid by S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. for the value of all shares issued by (representing 100% of the share capital of) ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania Limited will be $ 1,060,000,000 (one billion sixty million USD), which can be adjusted positively with a maximum value of up to 10,000 .000 USD (ten million USD), while the negative adjustment is not limited”, reads the report published at the BVB.
