Simona Halep reached the final of the Transylvania Open final by beating Marta Kostyuk 6-0, 6-1.
Romania’s number one tennis player served impeccably and set an infernal pace for the teenager from Ukraine (WTA 55), reported Spotmedia. She won the game in just one hour of play and is preparing for her first final of this season.
Halep will now meet the second seeded Anett Kontaveit (Estonia) in the final, who is placed 14th in the WTA ranking.
