Eighteen year old US Open champion Emma Răducanu on Tuesday beat Polona Hercog at the Transylvania Open, her first ever win on the WTA tour, reports Tennis365.

Răducanu is accompanied by her father, who is Romanian, at the tournament in Cluj-Napoca. The plan is to visit his family in Bucharest after her run at the tournament ends. But she is hoping that will not be any time soon as she faces Ana Bogdan on Thursday.
